Brian’s High School Graduation

On June 4, 2013, Brian graduated from high school! It was a very proud day for us. The DSC01267graduation was held at the Pensacola Bay Center. Susan’s brother and sister rented a condo on the beach and made a mini-vacation out of the event. We enjoyed visiting with all of the family. Brian has plans to enter the military soon. Brian’s 11th Grade Award

On May 24, 2012, Brian earned an award for excellence in reading during his junior year.  Mike brian11thgradeawardand Susan were able to attend to the ceremony.  They were very proud of Brian. Click on the photograph to view the entire gallery.

Brian’s Junior Year Homecoming

On October 29, 2011, Brian attended the homecoming dance for his junior year of high school. brianhomecoming2011Brian took his girlfriend, Allyson, to the dance with him. This was Brian’s first high school dance. His mom was very proud and took several photographs right before the dance.

Mike’s Mom’s College Graduation

On December 15, 2007, Michael’s mom graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Leavell mikesmomgradCollege, which is located in New Orleans, LA. The graduation ceremony was held at the seminary’s chapel. Michael was very proud for his mother to return to college after such a long hiatus. After the ceremony, all of Mike’s mom’s family and friends got together for several photographs. Here is one of the photographs from after the ceremony. Susan’s College Graduation

On May 5, 2007, Susan graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Elementary Education/English as a Second Language. All of Susan’s familysusancollegegrad and Mike’s mom and stepdad were able to celebrate Susan’s accomplishment with her. Susan now meets all of the requirements to become a teacher in the State of Florida. She will begin teaching in August 2007, at the same school Aaron attends. After the ceremony, several of us went to Pensacola Beach and celebrated Susan’s graduation at Capt’n Funs Beach Club. We thank everyone that traveled to Pensacola to see Susan graduate. Susan would also like to thank everyone for the wonderful gifts she received. I saved an article that was published in the Pensacola News Journal about her graduation. Brian’s 5th Grade Graduation

On May 12, 2006, Brian graduated from elementary school. The ceremony was held at Brian’s brian5thgradeschool, Longleaf Elementary School. Here is a photograph of Brian with his 5th grade teacher, Ms. Rials, and his friend London. Click on the photograph to view the entire gallery.

Aaron’s First Day of School

On August 9, 2004, Aaron headed off to his first day of school.  Aaron had his big brother, Brian, toaaron1stdayofschool help him along during his new experience. Brian and Aaron would be going to the same school for a few years. Probably his most enjoyable memory was riding the bus home with Brian. Aaron made it to school without shedding one tear, although Susan did feel quite sad in sending her youngest off to school. Here is a photograph of Brian and Aaron before school. Mike’s College Graduation

On August 7, 2004, Mike headed to Tallahassee, FL, to participate in the graduation ceremony at Florida State University. After seven years of college work, Mike earned a Master of Science mikecollegegraddegree, with a major in Criminology.  Along with Mike’s family, his mother and stepfather were able to make the trip. Susan’s sister and her family also drove down from Montgomery. The guest speaker was Dr. Mike Winegardner, who is a professor at FSU and the author of the Godfather Returns. The local newspaper prepared an article detailing his speech and accomplishments. After the ceremony, everyone headed to the FSU Stadium for a few pictures by a statute of a Seminole on a horse. Mike would like to thank everyone who attended the ceremony and supported him in achieving his educational goal. Click on the photograph to view the entire gallery.

Brian’s 1st Grade Award

At the end of Brian’s first year in school, he was the proud recipient of five awards. Brian received brian1stgradeawarda certificate of service, an award for spelling, art, and two awards for reading! Here is a photograph of Brian showing off one of his awards.
